It's been pretty clear in most areas. I did have to cut up my trim piece to make it fit.

It takes a village to install a backup camera.

I can't wait to have the funds to get one of these. Once I have an N6 I'd probably have no need for any sort of newer car until the E53 body rusts out.

Anybody know the difference between the N6 and the D99 ?

D99 is a good unit but is the prior model. N6 is first to be able to be used with DSP with no modifications (if you have that feature, I do)

I think with code BMW at J&T Distributing you get $50 off so I think its $700 shipped, thats a smokin price for all that this unit does, and the OEM look it gives.

Thanks for the info. Besides the DSP compatible feature any major differences between the two ? eBay has the D99 for $499 (J&T Distributing has them out of stock)

^^^for 200 bucks extra Id get the N6 man, lots more features which Jeff I'm sure can share. And maps are built in on N6 as well
