I've never had any issues with ECS shipping. Their website clearly defines any item not stocked, and the number of days it will take for them to get the items in/out for delivery, this online info has NEVER been wrong.

Added bonus is their free shipping on orders over a set amount (usually around $100 to $200). I always add a shirts or 2 to small orders, to get over the minimum amount.

ECS Tuning has taken a beating on BMW forums for not accepting returns on electrical items, yet the website defines what item are unreturnable. Those who don't like the policy need to look elsewhere for electrical items.

I went to buy something from ecs for $1.50 and they wanted to charge me almost $10 for shipping

ECS gets hammered on everywhere. I have had quiet a few problems with from from out of stock when clearly marked in stock to delayed shipping and missing items. It wouldn't be as bad if their customer support wasn't terrible. Like previously mentioned, their shipping prices are outrageous and beyond slow.

I like the ease of ECS. I had one issue on an order and they refunded the money. It was product damaged in shipping and the wrong fill plug. Other than that, their shipping estimates have been good and no issues there. I have ordered thousands of dollars in parts, so my orders are usually large - I have four cars that I need parts for on a regular basis. I also get my parts shipped to the U.S. and pick them up every so often, so I don't have to deal with duty/taxes.

I typically use getbmwparts and ECS, I price check between the two. Getbmwparts is usually the cheapest out of all the dealer sites, and the places like Pelican, bimmerworld, etc.

Pelican is usually way higher than ECS and getbmwparts.

I use to use getbmwparts.com and Jason and Evan are top notch guys but last few years Tomkinsonbmwparts.com has better prices on many items while also having great customer service and reasonable shipping charges.

Thanks for all the suggestions and postings. Ill have to check them all out!
Not to much of a fan of RM European! They screwed me on a order and have since purchasing anything from them!

I don't buy small items from ECS, but I do agree their customer service SUCKS. I use them sometimes because they should be an over night shipment with the basic shipping, but lately its been two days. Don't know if its them not getting the items out, or the postal service. If you need bolts or fasteners, they make you buy a whole bag, so 10 etc, so I never order fasteners from them.

I'll give tompkinsonbmwparts.com a look next time I make a decent order.

i just ordered a few things from getbmwparts but I wish I had gone with BMW Parts - Genuine BMW Parts and Accessories - Save Money
Mainly because it was cheaper with them.
But getbmwparts was very top notch and quick to reply with emails. I even added a few things after I had already placed my order (they didnt have some parts in stock) so while I waited for those to come in I added a few things. It's shipped already so we'll see when I get these parts
