Need help- reconfiguring factory air ride

Anyone here reconfigured the factory air ride on a e53 4.8is
I was told you can over ride the system.
Any info would help thanks in advance.

Why are you going to do this? Air ride is perfect design for the beast!

I want to be able to lower it more than what it allows you to. There's a guy that did it idk if he's on this forum. I would like to get more info

If you just want to lower the suspension height, you can just use DIS to adjust the ride height. It is easy and simple.

Use DIS, many of us have done so.

You either run a ride height calibration and "trick" the system into lowering it, or manually lower it via the "set the zero point" function.

Thanks a lot I will look into it.

Inpa or dis.. Inpa is easier but it only seems to work good with dropping it 1-1.25inch..

Going lower dont really mess with it unless you know the system inside and out, as you will run into issues if not done right.

Can anyone help with selecting the correct ebay software/cable listing? There's a couple, and I'm not sure which one is preferred.

Could you elaborate on these issues?
