location of the tpms (rdc) module

Hey everyone, I've done a good interweb search with no luck? 2012 35is, anyone know where this part is? Looking to potentially unplug and decode TPMS light.

Thanks in advance!

Hey guys...so maybe I'm slow here, but I pulled apart the lower dash looking for this thing and couldn't find anything close. I found the ICS and the LCM, but no RDC...this is the part I need to unplug (attached pic, part #1)--but I don't know where it is on the car??? Anybody know where the antenna is to unplug? Thanks!

Just a guess, but check on the back side of the fender liner in the wheel wells. This is where it is on our 2008 328i.

Can I ask what your issue is, and what can be done by the decoding you intend to do? How do you decode?

I ask because my TPMS is giving a malfunction warning daily, I believe one or more batteries in my wheel mounted sensors are dying. The warning will appear for 5 secs and then go away.
I am actually bringing it into the dealer tomorrow so not sure I will see your reply before then...

Thanks! I'll check later tonight. My Indy even said it was underneath the steering wheel behind the vent tube. I removed that and nothing there...

I upgraded the wheels to style 128's and the TPMS sensors aren't the same frequency--so instead of removing the tires and putting on new sensors, I just went the coding route.

Not sure what my coding dude did--he's the one I use to turn off seatbelt warnings, use the key fob to close the trunk lid, etc. He coded the warning light off, but the RDC needs to be unplugged in order to make the light go away.

Hey just a heads up, I may be talking out of my azz. I found this thread and apparently those boxes on the fender liners are 'triggers' not antennae?? I have no idea what a trigger is or why it is needed. Or why these systems need to be so complex.

Position of RDC antenna

E70 is using the new type RDC system where there is only 1 antenna integrated in the control module which is located underneath the floor. Pretty sure unplugging he module will not make the warnings go away if the coding(decoding?) has not been done correctly.
