Interesting to hear you like it better than an E53 despite the difference in power. More refined I take it?

I love my E53 for the "race car handling feeling" but driving it in Montreal (pot hole capital) reminds me of when I had my M3. I only enjoyed my M3 outside Montreal where the roads were better. I guess thats why I sold the beast. So when I take my wife's E70 3.0si , man does it feel smooth and plenty of power...

Looks great... how hard was the install, and ona DIY sale 1-5 how difficult would you rate it. Would love to see a pic of the rear as well. Seriously considering this mod.
Also did you paint your lower mesh black?

Hair Dryer/Heat Gun are your friends!

The install takes a while, but if you are patient and keep a hair dryer or heat gun close by as your best friend, it's not too bad. Maybe a 2-3 on the DIY scale. Some lights are easier than others and I started with the flat ones and moved to the larger curved ones.

The film is pretty forgiving and can be removed and re-installed several times as long as you don't let it dry (for an hour) first.

They have a couple of really good install videos on their web page.

Thanks,
John
