Did full detail yesterday: 1Z Einszett Perls shampoo, Adam's Brilliant Glaze, P21s Carnauba and use Armor All Extreme Shine Protectant on black lower body trim. I've been using P21s wax for years love that stuff and just ordered the Adam's glaze (they are up in Colorado--really good company and customer service).

Finally got the gunmetal rims dipped to a bright aluminum (looks like a stock color now). Maybe hard to tell with the exposure. I like it better than it was when it was dark. I think the 214 spokes were more substantial matching the size of the car and that's what this (and the M5 style wheel) is missing.

Hello twin sister!!

Here is my X5 4.8i Sport. I had the wheels and aero kit hydrographic dipped in carbon fiber. And a Seibon carbon fiber hood installed. I'm sure it's not everyone cup of tea but I like it.

Still needs to be lowered and install wheel spacers but that might have to wait till spring.

That looks hot man. :wow:

Congrats. Nice color combo.

I just found out about plasti-dip. I can't wait to use it.

I think everyone should see this

Although I am probably never going to buy another BMW V8; this is stunning to look at.

My experience so far with plasti-dip if you're using it on wheels...
- brake dust is harder to get off, by a long shot. It's a rougher texture even with glossifier.
- you have to get every nook especially around where the lugnuts go in or it will start to peel very easily when you or the shop goes to put on or remove the nuts. The friction is not friendly.
- make sure you put on a good heavy coat, at least 4-5 coats, or it will be very hard to get off because thin just means little specks that won't come off as one.
- I hear it only lasts 1-2 years then you'll have to do it again.

Other than those points, I am happy with it as I changed the color of my wheels back to a stock from gunmetal very quickly and cheaply.
