So I know not to do the angels, but what about the fog lights? Same issues?

I don't think it is perfect match to the HID, but it is a lot better than stock and it is a lot brighter.

There is some good information there on why it is taking so long to come up with a satisfactory solution to the angel eye problem.

lakai: I just checked the link, good information, but kind of scary to do the mod. I am interested in the www.v-leds.com, but I wonder if it will give off a code on the X5. Has anyone tried it on the X5 yet?

You probably need to wire in a load resistor.

Also, the L.E.D.'s will not be nearly as bright as the halogen (less lumens).

Man, there's got to be a bulb out there or some easier solution, any ideas or solutions anyone?
