I still miss living in Manhattan, but being a homeowner in Nassau with a garage and a driveway that will hold 4 cars is much nicer. I can jump on the Railroad and be in midtown in 20 minutes.

I miss living on the North Shore ;(

I GET TO STAY AN X5WORLDER

after 4 weeks of back and forth between giving up x5s (6 years worth) and making my next lease a 535x my favorite dealer made the choice for me....
he found me the exact truck i would have built ( well almost) i gave up comfort seats and running boards for comfort access and third row, and HD radio...otherwise every other option fully loaded and i now own my THIRD saphire black x5......once in it i was thrilled......will likely at some point back ino or drive into something until i get used to the new shifter....sometimes technology is just a little silly.....

would have liked to wait for the new idrive..but who really knows when anything will actually hit the floors from BMW anymore, and with upgrades now seemingly coming monthly instead of bi yearly....the though of passing on a sick price to hope for new irive or twin turbos....just wasnt worth while....

now if i can jsut figure out how to make the nav screen full size id be thrilled...today will be my first full day with the car and outside of superbowl prep i guess ill split my time between driving and programming the sucker.....

i welcome myself back home to x5world...(i was always scared to leave)

sweet deal, which dealer

gianteli 03-06-2009 09:56 AM

I'm contemplating a 09 4.8 like so:
MSRP 69075
money factor .00125
10k miles
36 mos

$855/mo + tax

This doesn't look as good as some of the other deals around here, but the cap cost represents a 7% discount. Thoughts?

WOW! It is good to see so many great deals were made out there.

I got my '09 3.0 last November for $51,000 on a MFSR $55,925. It was the best deal on a car that I have had in over ten years. I was fortunate that the Port of Los Angeles Had THOUSANDS of BMWs sitting there waiting for deliviery. Got the exact car I wanted and only had to wait 4 days.

Good deal?

2009 3.0

MSRP is 63K
Sale price is $500 over, with the $1,750 loyalty rebate applied to the cap cost.

$1,200 drive off.

Payments are $795/yr for 3 years, 12k miles.

How does that sound? I'm also seeing deals for under invoice on new orders. Can someone who's done this post their dealer? Mine won't go under invoice, which I understand, but some are?

PS, I PM'd a few of you asking if you'd mind sharing your dealer information. I want to make sure I'm getting the best deal possible, and don't mind traveling a bit if I have to.

Thanks guys.
