Is this a good time to buy BMW's. I bought my X5 for about $125,000 cash, and I will be trading it in for the new X5 M when it releases.
But I am thinking getting a few for the family(sisters & brother) from the US. What kind of rebates and discounts are going on now, specifically SoCal. Also, if I buy 2 or 3, should I get a bigger discount?
Im thinking all new 2008-2009, 1 X5 4.8, 1 X6 30 or 50, and 1 M3 sedan or coupe.

What do you guys think. Good time or wait?

$125,000 US? And your going to buy a "few more". Damn, your economy must be doing a lot better than ours.

I'm pretty sure that isn't USD. Maybe Obama's rebate checks are worth more in Dubai . . .:confused:

The Economy is a lot worse in the US than it is in Dubai. I am 19, and the money is my dads, but his main branch for his business is in Los Angeles, so we are affected as much as everyone else if not more. In Dubai people are loosing hundreds of thousands of Dirhams, and many like my family are loosing millions.
I had a friend whose father was loosing $5 million (its more, but people don't believe the real amount) a week which went on for a few months. That was the loss from only one of his companies.

With that said, if you are going to be buying a car sometime in the near future, why not now. Thats why I am asking how cheap they are going because I haven't had a chance to visit a dealer yet in SoCal.

It is USD, converted at 3.65. I paid almost $5k USD just for the Space Gray color thanks to the stealers. :dunno:

Nobody knows how much you could save off a X5 or X6 these days?
