I wonder what happens when you shift from D to DS in mid race? :dunno:
I gotta try that next time. BTW folks, what car was your X's 1st victim?

I have tried D to DS while speeding and I have to say that it feels like you have more power and all around better performance.

As for my first, it was a Cayenne Turbo in a 1 mile freeway race during traffic. I was close, but didn't exceed 4k rpm so lost.
My recents were a BMW 3xx(Coupe) and a Ferrari F430. Ferrari guy had the power, but didn't know how to drive it. :D
As for the Cayenne Turbo S, only time I have seen one in person outside the dealership, I was in a rented LR3 :(

I always seem to have someone try, but I have yet to have anyone victomize me :D. More people tried to race my old 93 325is than the X5, but it had more of that look the honda boy racers were looking for. My favorite race in the X was someone who thought they were hot shit in a silverado SS with loudass exhaust. He almost held his own, but punk couldn't drive.

I was the victim then, but my X was a week old at the time and I didn't even try. Since the, I have never (maybe once or twice) lost to a POS Honda/Toyota, or a Ferrari/Lamborghini.

Nobody ever tries to race me.... Regardless of what car I'm in..

It must be my intimidating sunglasses... :)

I had my son with me in the X5 yesterday. We were at a stop light near the edge o fthe urban sprawl here and I was at a stop;light. There was a black on black Honda pilot edging forward anticpating the light turning green. Some guy with his wife and kids driving the thing. I kno wthe light timing so I waited, but when it went green, I started normally, and just gradually pulled ahead. I could hear him wind his cute littel thing up, and so I pushed down a little more, and eventually ha dto give it the knuckle, as he was keeping me from getting over to turn left. Never even put it in DS.

Honda Pilot + no driving = pwned
