2nd row footwell light is on during driving? (issue > headache) - FIXED (post #33)
 
I noticed last night that when i start driving the light in 2nd row footwell stays on.. pretty dim though. is this normal?

Tried looking in the manual and searching -- didn't find anything..

I think you meant to ask if I have LEDs installed? No, factory configuration.

sorry, my mistake. That is what I meant. If the other interior lights are on, then I suspect a problem with the switches located on each of the 4 doors.

If no other lights are on, it is the lCM ( light control module)

I know it happend with a friend of mine and it was replaced under warranty.

2010 35d, 2nd row lights are off when driving which obviously should be the case...

Service Adviser called saying the service department is puzzled.. they checked everything and couldn't find the source of the problem. they've escalated the issue and waiting for reply... not a good start for a 75k car :(

at least i get to enjoy the 335i nice loaded loaner...

Did they already try reprogramming? That's what they did when my door handle lights were on a low-power mode 24/7.
