I am not sure what the post LemansX5 post was about. I know we were talking about the new ipod integration with the idrive which was originally slated for Setember production but was delayed until week 40 which is october.

Just a official release by BMW listing all the models....I just posted X5 part. I think its just a recap by BMW. I don't see anything newer than already posted in this thread.

People on bimmerfest are reporting that new builds have 2 new options - the iPod updates, and Daylight Running lights. Looks likely they're switching to LED coronas.

I am not too hopeful.
Has it ever happened that a new feature would just show up without being mentioned in the model year bulletin or any bulletin?

I can't get any answers out of BMW GB about the two options 8TL and 8TN, but they and option 6VC were apparently fitted to my new E71 XDrive40D built last week (Week 40) and now awaiting transport to the UK if that helps anyone. My dealer checked the build data and all three are fitted.

I am picking my car up on Wednesday. It was built the first week in October(Oct 4 start date). I will tell you what my x5 has installed. My sheet has 6VC and 8TL

Any updates? I'm just waiting for someone to confirm the iOS4 support as well as the LED rings....My sales rep calls once a week, she doesn't seem to know much....

I took delivery of 1st week Oct build. Combo box and verified album cover, audio over bluetooth and I DO NOT need a Y cable for my iPhone 4 and IPhone 3GS to work as they did when I used a Y cable on my 2007. NO LED angel eyes, halos, coronas, or any other name they are called by
