i'm very satisfied, now i experienced in dry, wet and snow. ride is still great.
check for pics here: http://www.xoutpost.com/bmw-sav-foru...ws-review.html |
Thanks for the quick response. I saw these pictures already, they are too close up to see the beastiness of the tires that changes the outlook of the vehicle altogether. If you have something that shows both rear tires and the vehicle, than that would be great, else no worries.
Also, I believe they are non-rft? and 11" in width (rear tires)? Thanks |
yeah they are non rft and yes.
i dont have fender flares so they stick out a little, i dont have pics right now ill try to post later on |
Thank you sir, appreciated!

I will. They are way better than the dunlops it originally came with.

the 315's on the back make the X look like a tank from behind. Actually the only way people knew I got the wife a new 11 was the 20" are sooo much wider than the 19's and is very noticeable.
|
That's the entire point to get the 315's beastly looking DWS. The big paw print makes all the difference, but can't jeopardize the ride and handling of the vehicle either.
I had been on a search for one for my White X5 (E70) and I couldn't find any satisfactory reviews until this one (if you guys know any other, please refer me to them as well). There are hardly people out there who have written/posted pix of their 315's on X5, so it's very hard to make the decision on which ones to get. These are on top of my list right now after Zhehbka's excellent write up and satisfaction along with a couple of other respected members. Tho kind of very expensive in Toronto, almost about $400 a piece. |
Nice post - thank you!
You make it sound like you've had the Dunlops on since new - mind if I ask how many miles on your 2007 and how many sets of Dunlops you've been through? I have them on my 2011, and the only thing I "like" about them (too strong a word) is the no cost road hazard warranty. |
The first thing I will do is change the dunlops to bridgestone. They are better comfort wise and performance wise. As my dunlops were wearing out, everytime I accelerated the traction control would come on and cut the power thinking that I was loosing grip.....I took it to the dealer several times and the QC even drove it, and experienced the problem. They told me it was because of the tires. I didn't believe them at first. But then I changed the tires and everything went back to normal. 2009 xdrive48i sport pack and adaptive drive.

Just got my Bridgestones removed and Continentals installed and wow; comfort level increase but still feel planted!
