We need BMW to remove some of the risk of being an early adopter, none of us are particularly keen on taking a bath and being the only ones buying an X6 so what BMW do over the next few months will be critical to the X6's success.
I have said it before and will say it again, if BMW have not entered an X6 in the Paris-Dakar and therefore underlined its dynamic brand quality, then it risks being perceived as merely a (short-lived) fashion choice. I hope they're smarter than that.

Wise words. I think at least in the UK BMW are not sure about sales....it's been priced more attractively than I would have thought. The indicated pricing of a 5% premium to the X5 SE seems like the absolute lowest it could have been....I certainly didn't think it would be cheaper than the X5 M Sport. I think that says a lot about BMW's expectations on sales. |
