Personally, i'd go back and complain. Check around at Discount and few other places, get quotes and bring them into the Schwab that you went to. Let them know that you're quite unhappy and that you will not be returning or recommending them to anyone. Word of mouth can be very damaging, especially nowadays.

Online prices you can't compare since you have to pay for someone to install them, but you're past that point now anyways.

I used to goto the Les Schwab off 196th for years when I lived in Edmonds, but then switched to the one in Kirkland off 124th since it was like 10min from my house. Both were nice to me, and even though the area isn't as nice, the Lynnwood one was nice to me.

You gotta remember that the 19's can be more expensive than 20's because they are not as common of a size. Bigger isn't always more expensive as far as tires are concerned. $1,100+/- is not bad for 19" (4.4i sport package size) Proxes S/T II's installed.

Yeah, I've actually heard the same thing. I have Beyern Mesh staggered 19's on my 7, thankfully I got the wheels and tires for $800, so I haven't had to shop for tires yet!

I paid $740 out the door for a set of 4 on mine. Went back down to 235 from 255. 17" stock rim

Hey Tapia, did you ever go back like I suggested? If not, you basically just let them win, which I personally wouldn't have done. Hopefully you got some money refunded or a whole TON of free oil changers and pre-paid services.

That's just the price in Seattle. For the area in question, you didn't get ripped off. I was quoted the same as you paid for 19".

I would see what other places charge and then go back to les shwab and ask if they can price match. I think this is reasonable and something that most shops do. I will be curious to hear what you think of the new tires after you get a few thousand miles on them. I have heard mixed things about them. Keep us posted!!

Got a flat last week, took it to goodyear, and they quoted me $480 for 1 tire!
