It's not just you. The interior of the 7 is great but, BMW need to start and pay attention to the exterior. The newer Audi's are getting better looking every year.

Interior looks like an improvement over the current mess in the 7er but the exterior is weak. Definitely lots of Lexus LS and the front end is way too upright. That silly chrome detail on the front quarter panels is awful and totally unnecessary.

Talk about missing the mark. I was afraid I would feel this way when I saw it. I have loved BMW's for 20 years, but I really don't know what their designers are thinking or who they are designing cars for these days. None of their recent designs have impressed me with the exception of the e92 coupe.

I really don't know what else to say about it besides I am completely dissapointed once again. It has 100% been downhill for the 7 series since the e38 left production. I hate MB and think of Audi as BMW's little brother, but BMW is really making the S class and the A8 look good.

Did any of you honestly get excited when you saw this car? I sure didn't.

I think some of the designers and BMW execs need to check their ego's and start paying more attention to designing good looking vehicles instead of designing crap and then telling us how good it is. I fell for it with the last 7 series, but not this one.

Um.. Nope. Not excited. I guess I was so relieved that they fixed the rear end that I failed to notice the tall, flat snout. Is it these Euro pedestrian safety rules that dictate why the front has to be so tall? If so, why aren't other cars' fronts so tall?

Even the sports car makers like Ferrari or Lamborghini? Will they have big cow pusher front ends as well?
