How about pricing? Anything more precise than '+/- $100K'?

(since I'm first in line at my local dealer )

Do you guys think that the first year model of the x5 M will have problems? Is it better to wait for the 2011 model? Also will it be better to wait for the 2011 model because that is when it is supposed to get the face lift?

I don't think they will 'facelift' the ///M version of the X5 a year after it's realeased - at least I hope not

Regarding reliability - leap of faith here.

Ummm, is the Pope Catholic??

Does a bear shit in the woods?

I'm happy to let the 2010 X5/M-ers be the guinea pigs. This holds true for everything by the way, so it's not a knock on BMW. Windows Vista is the most obvious example.

Hoorah! This is one feature that would prevent me from buying any M or M-sport X5 - when you've had the heated steering wheel you don't want to be without it.

I have heated steering wheel on my 750i. I think I've used it once in two years.. Then again, where I live, it's 72 degrees all year

But if we are talking about options that we would like to see on the X5 ///M, one of the nicest things about the 750i is the phone fob. You can dial numbers without using your telephone or the nav system. There is actually a numeric pad. It's something I wouldn't mind seeing in the X5.

And how about also giving us an eyeglass holder, circa e53 2001 (pre panaromic sunroof).. What, BMW can't find a place to put a slot for our glasses?

As far as massage seats... There useless. But I do like the ventilated seats.

Then again, with the stock market tumbling down, down, down.. Who cares anymore. I think I'm gonna buy a Honda Accord.
