its definitely more purpose than for looks . i think the 4.8i with an aero kit looks the best out of the e70s. that said the best x5 of all time in my opion is the 4.6is.
did you guys ever have a poll on which x5 out of all of them is the most popular? i wonder what it would be ? from the first 3.0 to the lemans and i guess "last" x5m

I've owned a '01 3.0 (manual), '02 4.6is and my current 4.8is.
Hands down for the E53, the 4.8is is the king in all aspects, driving conditions, etc...

For the E70, we'll see.
