Looks like it, I see the RSC in the pics above right by the valve stem, then found that exact tire on tirerack in runflat, and it says "for bmw oem use only"

Seems like that black Rahal truck is official car mover for the M-tour.

The looks have grown on me but I would get with the roof rails.

Yeah it looks like same transport rig from NorCal (attached).

RE: the roof rails, I totally agree! I too will probably go with the low profile black roof rails. However, I will install them after delivery so that I can retain the factory painted roof rail caps (had this problem with my Rover HSE).

Also, did you notice the blue X5M has some type of black film on the kick panels. That might be a nice option as the painted surface will get trashed by passanger feet and/or daily use.

I'm dying to see a picture of the X5 ///M swing out trailer hitch ball. A trailer hitch will be a must for the race car.

Also, regarding the tires. Once these stocks are worn I will probably swap to the Michelin Diamaris tires from my 4.8is. Even though they wear quickly, I get the best response from them in high-speed mountain roads. Also the optional space saver spare will be a must to eliminate the run-flats.

The black film is on the current X5 M Sport model. It is a black strip which is listed as paint protector under the part # and it also works as a grip while getting in and out. I have never actually stepped on it because I don't want the side skirt to fall off.

Wow thats a lot of options. Hopefully most of those are standard on the US model as the window sticker at the M drive events didn't show them.
I think its going to be space grey or alpine white black w/ perforated leather and carbon matrix leather trim.

the picture of the x5 m you "configure" looks like crap and it makes the rims look even worse.
