It's a total shame the X M's don't have active seats. I love the active side bolsters in my M5. Even my wife loves that feature.
Was there a reason? Too costly?

I can't imagine it cost too much more for BMW to offer that seat. What $50 a seat? At least it should be offered in comfort seats as an option for $1200 like other e70's.

Comfort seat is an option. In fact in Australia, it's a no cost option I believe. I opted for the standard M-seat. Hope I won't be disapointed.
