Ive read lightly here and there about Escort, VOne, etc but at the end of the day I just wanna know what will cover me the best. I'm pretty good at looking for cops, using the gears to slow down instead of slamming on the brakes and giving it away when they see my headlights dive or my taillights come on when they pull the trigger, but I'm using such an old detector now. I'd to know what will get me worry even less.
Valentine One.. I have five of them. Best non-installed detector. Once you have the arrows, you'll never do without them.

My $.02

edit - before some (smartazz) posts the obvious ('then why did you get a ticket?) I'll admit they do nothing for laser 'detection' eg, before it's too late.

I agree the 'arrows' are the best available now, but why not have a radar/laser detector that has a nav screen? It could show on a map exactly where the cop was hiding!

Sorry for being off topic, but that is a device I can see happening in the near future.

Nice install. Isn't there something on the top portion of the windshield that interferes with the Detector?

No our windshields don't interfere with the radar...the higher it is the more distance you will get for warning.

BMW stopped supplying the green-band tinted windshields last year as standard to the US market.

Ok, so at various times for some models, they stopped supplying the standard upgrade windscreen.

They ought to make the Climate Comfort Windscreen an option for vehicles with which it is available in Europe. Would greatly reduce interior heat during the summer months in a country that is largely hotter than Germany.
