That Didn't Take Long - Speeding ticket in the new X5M
54 in a 40 (40mph on a 4 lane industrial area = absurd) Thought the limit was 45 and was just moseying along.. Valentine 1 laser warning went off and at first I thought the guy in front of me a ways had an LED rear brake light.. then I saw the fella in his POS Chevy Lumina unmarked with his window rolled down about 1/3 of a mile on the right. Game over.. he was in no mood to bargain and I got my first ticket in 3.5 years. (edit, oh and he wrote the description of the vehicle as 'BMW X6'  )Henceforward I'll be using cruise control (and paying a bit more attention to the posted limit) Better luck to you all.
