so its cheaper, they dont charge to ship it to the states, and all you have to do is show up to take delivery? sounds good to me!! I'm thinking about getting a 530xiT next year, and I see that it is $3500 cheaper to get Euro Delivery, which is much less than what it will cost me to fly over there, and getting the expierence is priceless of course, sounds good to me!!

You may want to talk with White05X3. I think he had done this with his X3.

I did Euro Delivery (818 was right). The invoice price is lower. I think BMW does it because the ED program really builds brand loyalty. Once you drive a BMW over there you will never drive anything else!
All cars sold in the US have a destination charge. The ED destination charge is exactly the same as the normal US delivery destination charge. The car enters the US with every new BMW through BMW's normal stream of commerce. I have done two euro deliviries (my 05 X3 and an 01 330ci) and absolutely love it. For anybody considering it, I say DO IT!!! Make sure to get the Nav to save headaches. I am happy to assist with the planning in any way. It is a great program!!!!!!!!!!!!! |

yes, it is cheaper. I have a lot of my customers that did EDs on X3 and they all loved the savings and the vacation in Europe.
Myself, I did a European Delivery and also a pick-up at the factory in Spartanburg. and yes, get the Navigation, it will be very useful in Europe |

How did you do ED on an X3? I thought it was not even made by BMW but by some other contracted company?

my customers did Euro Delivery on the X3, I did one on a 750LI. It really doesn't matter if it's made by another company or not, it's still branded as a BMW. The only BMWs that are not available for ED are the X5 and the Z4, which are manufactured in South Carolina.

Hey blondboi... it was nice seeing you at WestFest! You saw first hand an x3 that was ED...
Yes it is made by another company, but is still a BMW. Many people have done ED with the X3 and it remains one of the all time great travel experiences. In fact this July we are doing another ED on another X3 and a 335i. Again...to anybody considering this amazing experience, I say DO IT!
