Dammit why does everyone have better pictures than me?!?!!!?!! It's like my Casio Exlim (point and shoot) camera sucks or something......

My camera sucks too..... the pics in my photo album were taken with a Canon IXUS only.

Not to change the topic but WTF was the split fender for anyway? How in the world would it possibly save BMW any money to have to design and mount two separate pieces?

Don't know for sure, but I would guess it is the tooling and pressing cost, which would have been sufficiently higher for a single pressing that they could cover the cost of mounting two pieces instead of one.

I heard that it was meant to be a 1 piece fender all along, but that there was a complication at the last minute, and so a two piece fender was used for the first model year...

That sticker is a confirmation that the vehicle meets CMVSS (Canada) or FMVSS (USA) standards. Sticker is not used in EU.
