I'll find the invoice when I have time for the P/N. If you can't wait, play with this

Yes, I would like to know what is mentioned on your invoice.

A couple others mentioned that they got the entire mirror replaced too. I think it might be part #6 (Actuator) that's the problem.

Mine doesn't tilt when putting it in reverse but if I move the pass mirror just a little prior to putting in to reverse it will tilt. I'm not nuts about the feature anyway as I think it tilts to far to be completely useful. I just leave the feature off.

In my 01 330ci I could adjust the amount of tilt that you wanted, it was great.
cheers

Move the switch to passenger side, put in reverse when mirror tilts adjust the tilt where you want it. Ignition switch has to be on. You don't put the switch to drivers side, you leave it on passenger side. This is for MY 01 330ci Good luck
cheers

In both my vehicles (01 330xi and 04 X5) moving the switch to the right (passenger) side disables the tilt.

This is similar to what happens with me. Actually, I think I've noticed that when I use one of the memory buttons to auto-adjust my seats and mirrors, the passenger side mirror will not tilt down in reverse. If I then get it "out" of the memory settings - like move one of the mirrors a little - then it will go back to working. It's like the memory settings lock the tilt feature out and as soon as you adjust something, it'll release the tilt.

I don't know if this is a feature or a bug?
