Hold the presses. The F15 fuse identification came from the Bentley
section that covers the alternator. I just looked in the schematics in
the back and there it's shown as F5. Could be good news because
it also shows that fuse powers the tranny control, if it's blown
could explain the shift indicator thing too.....

There are also different schematics depending on engine, year, etc
and IDK what exact car we're talking abou here.
