The range of air/fuel adjustment on your engine will provide for any increase demand from an air box and throttle body. For the throttle body to provide maximum benefit the air flow to the throttle body should be increased, an air box is likely enough for your application. In addition, the back pressure should be decreased, it helps even without any other mods. Finally, you would need engine software to take full advantage of the potential. I suggest you call Dinan and see if they can give you how best to maximize the throttle body benefit.

The best value is to add nitrous and meth injection. About two years ago I added Snow Performance meth kit and 150 shot of nitrous. Much bigger benefit than supercharging and far far less cost.
thank you for your input. I spoke with a rep today from Dinan he reassured me no negative impact will be made on the car with the tune long term if anything it will be a good thing for the car - as it will optimize the car for the increased air flow with the high flow throttle body + afe air intake. In addition the tune will add approx 220 rpm more to each shift point. Which is not a lot, for a used car, its a good thing. I also have removed the resinator, and have the supersprint catback exhaust system, which I believe should all work together in tangent & better better with the tune. I guess at the end of it all, you only live once, I think ima give the Stage 3 tune a try and get it done with the throttle body.. make the beast even more beastly...
