Noise right rear

Yes. I have searched the web and this forum.. Hate to start That way but there is always someone that has to spank others when they ask a question. Have found some threads. But nothing definitive.

The issue, accelerate lightly and let off the gas and clunk.. Very repeatable... Standing behind the car when doing this at idle speed, going forward A foot at a time, it is very noticeable especially on passenger side. Putting my hand on the trailer hitch I can feel it when it happens ....

We had it on the lift today checked what we thought we should and all nut bolt were tight.

I suspect worn bushing, but could not I'd anything...

We even too out the spare tire and Jack, nothing found.

Ideas? Help?

Thanks

I just had similar thunk I could not find. Front right brake caliper to strut nut was loose. Not a good thing.

If nothing has ever been done on the rear, get a rear suspension and subframe refresh kit. ECS and FCP Euro sell them. Find a good indy, or, if you're handy, have the proper bushing tools, some patience, time and like to curse, do it yourself .

If you do it one bushing at a time (shop or yourself), you will pay more (time and money) than just doing all at once. If you rip and replace everything, you essentially swallow the pill and move on. But you will not be chasing bushing noises and having to do alignments every time either. Peace of mind is worth something

Unless it's a sway bar bushing. In that case, that's a pretty cheap/easy fix. The rest I would put in the bucket above.

Cheers.

Ricky Bobby will become famous soon enough
I used Meyle HD bushings for the subframe on mine. My buddy now has the tool for rent, I no longer own it as I traded him it for his 4.8iS exhaust. If you need it shoot me a pm
