pusher fan
oh fuse is OK 1. when AC on , no fan , 2. when car creeps up in temp nothing 3 shouldn't it fire up for a few seconds when u start the car up to self test? basically this fan does nothing ![]() scanner shows no errors Cheers Steve

What type of scanner are you using? A generic OBD II scanner will not show a fan fault. You need a scanner that is made for a BMW/. I use BMW Scanner 1.4. The fault will show up in the DME module.

I went out earlier ,
1 . fuse not blown 2. start car fan doesn't move , pre test. 3. car uber hot , temp rising above 1/2 ( thought id fixed this ( 25 degrees outside, fan not working) 4. ac on , recirc on , no fan , as I said , this thing just doesn't want to play oh I was sing bmw scanner 1.4, until I formatted the laptop, now it wont work ![]() outlet temperature sensor hmmmm

The most obvious symptom to me is the pre-test - the fan doesn't move. The fan is a known failure point, there's a better chance the fan has failed than anything else at this stage.

went out this morning when it was cold , no fan spinning , will look for another fan
