cn90 is on a distinguished road
I'd like to thank @wpoll for the correct advice.

The Osram 64113 was a bit difficult to buy.
It was a bit expensive on ebay. However, amazon has it for about $12 for pack of 10.
Still better than $20/each for the whole bulb assembly.

The video @wpoll posted above (heating a paper clip red hot with hope to create 2 small grooves) did not work for me. What worked: I used the smallest flat jewelers screwdriver, insert at let's say 12 o'clock twist it a couple times. Then 6 o'clock and twist it again.

The idea is to create tiny grooves, just enough to slide the bulb out.

Now my instrument message "Check side lights" that I have ignored for the last 7 years, is now gone.

Thanks again for the cheap fix...
