I'd like to thank @wpoll for the correct advice.
The Osram 64113 was a bit difficult to buy. It was a bit expensive on ebay. However, amazon has it for about $12 for pack of 10. Still better than $20/each for the whole bulb assembly. The video @wpoll posted above (heating a paper clip red hot with hope to create 2 small grooves) did not work for me. What worked: I used the smallest flat jewelers screwdriver, insert at let's say 12 o'clock twist it a couple times. Then 6 o'clock and twist it again. The idea is to create tiny grooves, just enough to slide the bulb out. Now my instrument message "Check side lights" that I have ignored for the last 7 years, is now gone. Thanks again for the cheap fix...
