That's a much better idea than cutting like I did. Oh well... it looks pretty good now. Rings are already mounted or I would go back and heat it to fit the rings in a little better like you did.

For pics check my "Permaseals are no joke. Finall Open" thread. I am going to upload a bunch more pictures today.

Sounds easy but I went through 2 sets to find out how hard/easy you had to be when bending lol.

I swapoed out the angel eyes to a LED bulb.
They are much more brilliant white, vs the dingy originals.
I do get a pulsating flicker startup, but it's worth the improved
look.
Amazon for the parts. Plug and play

I tried that it wasn't bright enough for me.

It wasn't a lot of light output, just better white color.

He opened up the headlights and swapped the rings. I did the same thing recently. Not for the faint of heart... but the only way to get daytime visible angel eye/halo rings like on the newer bimmers.

Yup!! I started with just buying an LED bulb and swapped that. It was more white just not very bright. Not even what others posted and got. Turned out one of the tubes on both sides of mine were broken hence the poor output. O well much happier with the end result now anyway.
