I think it's X3 E83 LCI steering wheel. It should work on E53. If you want to make heating working if you originally don't have it you have to change the slipring and wire the supply.

Originally I do have a 4 spoke heated steering wheel, but I wanted upgrade to something nicer but keep a heated option.
Not sure what's possible but something like this would be great:

Unfortunately none of these awesome looking aftermarket steering wheels on ebay have the heated option
