DIS v57 running on Windows 10 and VMware

i bought it from the romanian last year install it on my new dell running win 8.1
it i get a signal on the upper right corner but when i connect the cable to the car it tells me its not connected.??

Do you have his email? I am looking thru my eBay messages and I cannot find his. I also tried to sent an email thru eBay, but it won't let me since he doesn't have any Item listed. I really need to contact him so I can get the registration key. Thanks.

I don't - but I managed to send him a message though eBay without him having anything listed. You cannot do it through the app. You need to log on to ebay with a computer.

It should look just like the screen I have pictured in the upper right hand corner. Two sets of red-yellow-green bars. One set means it's not talking to the diagnostics head.

I tried from my computer and it didn't give me the option to sent messages. That is fine, I installed this set of programs and they are working just fine. Bmw INPA Ediabas, NCS Expert tool, WinKFP - BMW forum. Diagnostics, coding, programming, repair BMW vehicles. It took me a while, formatting my computer and installing everything from the beginning). I disabled cold monitoring using NCS Expert and NCSdummy.

i just had a flash back my error said no voltage found on terminal 15 something like that been a while since i tried it

That sounds more like a cable or OBD connector issue and less like a problem with the software.

If it knows enough to test voltage and isn't finding it it sounds less like software to me. Assuming you have the two sets of colored bars as I referenced above.

I believe I've seen that error before as well. Unplug/replug.

Do any of the other "tools" in that suite work?

yes i did have the 2 yellow full bars on upper right corner and also i have no problem running inpa or resetting stuff with inpa.
