Buy the parts and install yourself. I love the look, didn't even see my X without the running boards.

Make sure they work with X5.

I just assumed that the 4.8 would come with them. What a silly option. It is the sportiest model, why would someone NOT want them?

If you guys take a close look at a 4.6 or a 4.8, you'll notice that the wheel arch is not one piece, but two. The only thing holding it on is a couple of metal inserts and some damn good apoxy. This is a easy mod that requires very little work. Checkout the pictures......Phil

I think that looks so cheap, that is the one thing i really dislike about my 4.8
