Teaser pics. This is post Minwax/mineral spirits sealing. Holy crap does that last step make all the difference. Went from meh, at least they look better than before, to wow, those look almost new.

Yea. Here are a couple of mine.

Love the new look with the LEDs!!

^Looks great. Like looking in a mirror before I changed wheels.

Update: Headlights still doing well. Got my transfer case actuator gear changed to the tune of $235. Not bad. I can't really complain about that considering the need to get the work done on vacation. Only took the shop about 45 minutes to do it... so didn't have to rent a car or anything. The other shop I went to wanted $130 just to take it in and look at it the next day. No thanks...

Will try to get some nice scenic shots with the X in the next few days before leaving Miami, but the weather is not cooperating.

I changed mine out when having SLS Inactive issues a few months ago. Was not hard at all.

I want to get my rims refurbished. I have been looking around trying to find a good place near me. There is some very minor nicks on 2. I think a nice fresh up would make them look good. I'm fixing to tear down my 7 series and I'm thinking about adding a tow hitch next and then some spacers on the X. Hopefully sooner than later!!

Started the DIY. Hopefully will have it ready to go by next week. Will be done in the same fashion as my Avin Avant install DIY so there will be a file available for download for offline viewing, as well as a new thread posted.

Wasn't able to get any pictures in Miami unfortunately. There just wasn't any time and the family I was visiting isn't into cars in the slightest (though they all drive bimmers) so they thought I was crazy for even wanting to. Hah. Need to re-detail the truck as it is still filthy. I did get all the bugs, sap, and sand off of it though.

Look for more pictures in the DIY thread as I think this one has reached it's intended conclusion. SUCCESS!

Did you ever finish the DIY for opening/closing the permaseals? I want to cut open my S5's but I don't want to destroy them.

Sorry, it's only halfish done. I can post what I have so far... it's past the opening of the lenses though if memory serves. Sorry just been extremely busy around here. In fact, my son was born on Friday.

Congratulations! That is awesome. I'm sure you have a full plate.

I was just looking for techniques on opening and resealing. Yours look a lot cleaner than others that I have found online.

Congrats and here is to hoping this string does NOT turn into a "I just purchased a Minivan" post!
