What leaks over the left axle?
I have a leak above my front left axle and don't know where it could be coming from. I can't see underneath the intake to know what could possibly be weeping. It's pretty serious also. Sent from my SAMSUNG-SGH-I537 using Tapatalk

It is a 3.0 motor. I believe it is oil, as it doesn't look like it is coming from the differential.
The oil filter housing gasket is more front and center, no? It was my first thought, but I took off the airbox and tubing, and couldn't see the housing itself. Is my best bet to take off the intake manifold?

No need
Remove the front under belly pan, and look up. The alt/oil filter housing leaks start at 80 k and only get worse. Power steering leaks also show their ugly heads at this time. Look before you guess

any of the ccv hoses broken? there is a small line that connects to the dip stick, its been known to break and leak oil.

Felt around and didn't find any. Then again, I hate how little space there is down there. Couldn't see anything from below, and definitely can't see anything from above. The only reason I know there is a leak is that I degreased the bottom and cleaned the metal pan, and now there is oil on top of the metal pan that is definitely new.

If you have oil in the metal pan you have either a transmission leak or a rear main oil seal leak.
