BULLITT is on a distinguished road
04 4.8is Newbie Underhood Question

Bought the X5 in January from a dealer for a great deal. I've slowly been researching, learning, troubleshooting, cussing, and fixing some of the issues with the SAV. Mechanically it is very sound.

So far I've rebuilt the air suspension system, tinted the windows, and changed the transfer case fluid.

I'm the type person that hates to pay people to do things that I can do or at least without troubleshooting myself and giving it a shot. I work long hours during the week, and being a newly wed, my wife hates to see me even reach for the Bentley manual or think about popping the hood. Therefore, I had an independent shop change the front CV axles for me a few weeks back.

Ever since we go the X5 back, the left headlight has been pointing extremely far left, and the right is more center.

Also, this hose has been bugging the crap out of me. I've checked as many parts diagrams and I can find. Without dropping a skid plate and getting under the vehicle for a while. Can someone help me with where this is supposed to be connected?

It's pictured just in front of the driver side valve cover. Seems to be a rigid, pre-formed, plastic line. Thanks in advance for the help.
