RED LEATHER interior what do you guys think worth?

Think it's time to move on as she now recently started to smoke in the left exhaust and now a/c stopped working so just tired of dumping money on her.

What is my red interior worth from fanatics point of view ?
Trading her in for a new rubicon just wondering what should I do

Suggestion: Clean out the interior of the car and fix it or sell it. Your choice.
Your going to "dumping money" on either repairs or a loan. Either way it is $$ out of your pocket. Rule of thumb is always an easy answer: Do the repairs bills exceed the annual loan payments of the replacement?" If you are paying cash for the replacement the rule still applies will the cost of lost investment funds (not much with today's interest rates) exceed repairs?

There is no ROI formula for I want a new car syndrome.

In regards to the interior, let it go with the vehicle as the next and final owner may enjoy the contrast.

Agreed clean it up before showing pictures. Depending on the condition of the veehicle you should just sell it outright and move on. These vehicle require the right degree of care to make them worthy. I love my 4.6is but I have taken the approach and time to make it stellar through a series of repairs. Now I just have a few cosmetics to take care of it. I have $4k in parts spent on The vehicle and my labor time but there no car payments on this baby. In addition, there are no vehicles on the market that come close to this vehicle in drive and performance for the price. A used Range Rover sport 2014 still costs a pretty penny and so does a used Porsche Machan.

Agreed there is no logical approach if you simply have "new car-itis". The cheapest solution is almost always to fix it.

But if you're thinking you have a lottery ticket with the red interior I would think twice. It won't add any value to a trade-in, and minimal value to a retail sale. There has been a full Imola interior listed on eBay for years now at 2900 and hasn't sold. E53's are not valued at a high enough dollar amount for owners to justify spending that kind of money on a fancy color interior. I would anticipate finding a buyer in the 1500$ range. Freight shipment on a pallet will cost around $300 minimum. FYI I am not interested as a buyer, I own a BMW dismantling company and know the market. Good luck with whichever way you go.

Well my truck is super clean from inside and out. Clean title never had an accident but I know for a fact I won't get much as a trade in. For me to pay for the smoking issue its not even worth it to me anymore as I have dumped a lot of money and yes I still love it and runs super nice. Cancelled out air bags system and now riding low on coilover dampering suspension. Just a though one, I love the 4.8 but just seems like there's always something bound to go wrong on these trucks lol.
