Come on, guys, cut JSoto some slack! I have used mine to pull a UHaul trailer to move kids, etc., apartments. If I needed regular use, I'd go for the low profile cross bars and an aerodynamic roof box [since I'm tall enough to reach it .....] and save the hitch for bike racks, etc. On the mini van issue - some funny TV ads for the Chrysler Pacifica these days featuring a very funny guy, actor/comedian Jim ?, who we have seen in comedy clubs. Can never remember his last name.

6-door ford excursion

a guy in my neighborhood has too many kids. a limo company took his F-250 super-crew 4x4, bought a crashed Excursion with the nose hammered, and put the back of the Excursion (cut off behind the drivers seat) mated to the 4 door cab of the F-250 where the bed used to be. it fits perfect. wish I had pics. so he has 3 doors on each side, plus the "4th row" seating that's stock in the back of the Excursion. it's a beast. a "6-door" excursion that looks stock.

Two kids here and we take the chevy volt everywhere now. Gotta learn to bring less crap with you. For trips the tray and roof should have plenty of room for you.
