Let it dwell long enough just to clean it.
It's good stuff and something I use for a post winter wash after the snows come off
Is this basically acid? People are saying its burning through their spray bottles! BMW wheels are painted, so I guess I could use this product.

If this is stronger than Sonax I may give it a shot. Sonax is good if you consistently clean your wheels regularly. If you wait too long, then that's a different story.

Wow!

I have used 3M Clear safe rubbing compound and some elbow grease.

This was my Sonax experience. Though no YT hits.

I don't think my wheels have been that clean in the past 8 years or so. I am in the process of replacing my CV joints and boot so it would be a good time to clean the wheel well and the wheels as well! I may try Meguiars though, not sure if paint compound will get off the caked on shit on my wheels.

It's a safe product.
After use, take the sprayer head, dump in container/bottle with water, and spray/flush the sprayer head of the product. Otherwise, expect to replace the sprayer head the next time you use it.

Just spray, move the product evenly on wheel, let it dwell for 1-2 minutes TOPS. Don't let it dry on the wheel. Rinse thorougly and NO need to scrub or utilize any muscles just short of moving around a 40lb wheel.

Yes. I was sub'd to him on YT but have since unsubbed because of the way these posts are done. Some info can be helpful, but most are 2:00 videos of generic info.

Back on on topic. I did some reading and it seems this product does a very good job on wheels (autogeek & autopia reviews) but for use on the the vehicle a product like Iron X is better suited. I'm going to give the Dubs a try if I remember to pick some up.

Any issues with getting this on the tire itself (i.e. blooming)?

I don't get an on the tire.....or try not too.
Rinse thorougly. Product will be diluted if it touches the rubber as you rinse.....if you clean it right minimizing not touching the rubber.

It's good sh1t - just strong

My wheel cleaners -

Primarily pressure wash - leftover car soap.
Every once in awhile, I will do a maintc. wash with Sonax or Colourtex - just to get the back of the rims, etc that might have buildup I'm not hitting with the PW

Post winter wash before they go into storage - a wash with Meg. Wheel Brightner

Crystalworks -

Pricepoint somewhere in the middle between Dubs/Sonax - 1Z Colourtec is one of my faves wheel cleaners. What I really like about this product is that it foams up a bit as you agitate it.

I saw them... ... and they are tempting. But I am in LOVE with the gold color I put on the OE calipers. The silver isn't "POW, Look at my big dawg sexy brakes!" enough for me. LOL.

I get questions from people regarding what I upgraded the brakes with simply because of the drilled rotors and color right now. Silver is too OE for me.

Is it OTC? I enjoy cleaning the truck well, but absolutely hate having to order cleaning products. I much prefer to just pick them up at the store while getting oil, washer fluid, etc at the local parts store or at Wally World when doing grocery shopping.
