Oh I forgot to mention that when I purchased the JL mid-bass drivers I only bought the 6" driver set. You can purchase the components separately. The tweeters I did last year when I installed the BSW speakers that I obtained from another forum member. He had RF (Rockford Fosgate tweeters) that I did not care much for and decided to upgrade them with the JL tweeters. Fast forward to this year one of the BSW drivers started rattling in the rear so thats what prompted me to upgrade the drivers to the JL 6 inch mid-bass drivers.

I thought of that too and looked into it and it LITERALLY costs $20 more for the full C2-600 set as opposed to just getting the two 6" CW's only since the CW (component wuffers?) were $100 each plus shipping each and a full C2-600 set was just $250 CAD shipped. So may as well ugrade tweeters too, as I have never liked the tweeters in the DSP set-up but never bothered to change it... but since they are practically free when you buy the new wuffers...

I was just about to buy two sets of the C2-600 kit only to realize the rear doors dont actually have tweeters. the only tweeters in the vehicle are in front doors, by outside mirrors. wonder why they never put them in the back. either way, its cheaper for aftermarket stuff not having to put another set of tweets in.

Prop when you say tiny speaker are you referring to the speaker grill by the door handle correct? If so that is a mid driver as opposed to a tweeter. My X5 only has the tweeters up front in the door sail. The mid-driver in the rear doors is another odd size speaker.

Jay - any JL solutions for the mid drivers in the door and the dash for us DSP guys? I seem to recall the Midranges from BSW being around 65mm IIRC - but I could be wrong (although you can confirm since you have them)
I'd like to piece together my own 10 piece non-BSW DSP solution and you seem to be on the right track - Should I get 2 of these and I'll end up having a spare set of tweeters in the front doors and then figure out the mid-ranges later? The C2-600 set? JL Audio C2-600 6" 2-Way Evolution C2 Component System
