Thanks for the replies guys. I really do appreciate it. How do I get the wishbones to drop down further in order to remove the spring?

Just went through this with my rear suspension refresh. You can pry the swing arm down, especially if you put your jack under the hub NOT the swing arm. It's a bitch. But I got it. The bolt you pictured for the top of the integral link should be run in PRIOR to running in the bottom bolt, the long one, the one that holds the rear axle carrier to the swing arm.

The jack pictured is not supporting anything, it was there to remove the shock lower bolt. Not real savy on the hub n swing arm and integral link terms. Where is this bottom bolt your talking about? Sorry, just trying to visualize your suggestions.

The bottom bolt I was referring to is directly below the one you have partially run out. The bolt you have partially run out is for the upper part of the integral link. The bottom bolt goes through the bottom of the integral link and connects to the swing arm to the axle carrier. If you are wanting to remove your shock you only need to remove the bolt holding the shock. None of the other bolts need to be removed.

The only way I know of to get the axle to drop further is to disconnect the swing arm from the axle carrier. You might try loosening it and the bolts holding the swing arm to the frame. That my take enough tension off to allow you to push the swing and axle carrier down so you can move the spring.

Thanks for the clarification. Makes sense now. Is there tension on that large curved bolt? I was going to do this, this morning but it was sprinkling and wet outside. I'll try this after work or tomorrow and report back.
