Ok inalso have a HF vaccume pump and a kitbto intorudce UV dye in the system. & a UV light. Just wanting to know a start point. The guy i got this x5 from gets bent over all the time. More money than brains type of guy. So i would not doubt some one loosesend the lines up somewhere. I think i will go after door latch right now.

i push schrader valve by radiator support, no pressure. isn t this the high side? i put some UV dye in little transfer canister to introduce into ac system. no leaks but seems high preasure. i put gauges on and no pressure on either high or low side. hmmm . the gauges work. almost new. i have used them before. i can depress shrader valve by firewall. no preasure there either. GT 1 says recirculation malfumction 640002. i was mistaken on main cooling fan running. it is not. is there a way to jumper the sensor? i ran short test in INPA and gt1 55. any thoughts from amy memebers? wow cooling fan assembly. $524 . any good sources for this?

Ok, unplugged pressure switch under airbox. Fan takes off like a 747. Getting cooler air from vents. But not cold. Could be ambient cooler temps outside. So.... compessor? Or ..... what is longest life out of a compressor clutch for AC. Guy i bought from purchased with 75000 on it. CPO. SEEMS TO HAhave been well maintained except last oil change is overdue & sunroof drains plugged.

With 187k on it i am thinking compressor bearings out and 134a leaks out. Seems like the most logical.

With that kind of mileage on it, anything is possible. Could be o-rings that are no longer sealing, could be a puncture in the condenser coil from road debris hitting it, could be one of the shraeder valves is no longer holding pressure. Find the leak and go from there. Throwing parts at an AC system gets to be pretty expensive if you don't have a recovery machine to recover the refrigerant after you refill it, not to mention what you are doing to the atmosphere by leaking or releasing refrigerant into the air.
