Sent back an email to him on this. Hopefully we can get it going.

The first thing I did was connect the Seicane unit as instructed. Everything worked but I had no sound. I was advised the IBUS app with DSP would correct the problem so I ordered the app with DSP option.

I know what ACC and B+ are for. Initially the instructions were that the above four wires would only be used for the IBUS app so I removed the four wires including the snap in connectors on them that were needed for the app from the blue connector and wired the app wires to them. The app worked but still had no sound. I emailed Seicane when I found I had no sound. They told me to cut the wires before the connector and, install the blue connector back in place and wire the Nav unit (my interpretation of their directions) into the back. That meant the wires I removed from the connector had to be snapped back in place. The problem is that I don't remember what slots those four wires should snap back into to provide voltage, for instance, to the proper pin in the blue connector going to the Nav unit to test the original system or be sure the NAV unit is properly wired per Seicane fix to see if I get sound that way.

In short, until I can confirm which color wire goes into each one of the 12 slots I can't go back or forward.

In hindsight I should have spiced into the blue connector wires rather than removing them from connector. I thought about it but didn't and I know better.

I tried a few times before to find the colors of the wires but I will work on that today and find something that shows all the colors for that connector.

Worse case scenario I can try looking at mine and writing down what goes where. I suck at color identification on wires is why I want to find a diagram in place of trusting myself to get the colors right from my plug.

Unless I guess I can only go back to operational sound when I know what number slot each color wire goes in the blue connector that goes into the NAV unit. Sounds like the only way to get there is if someone can look at the blue connector to their nav unit and list the slot and color or if I can find a picture somewhere.

We will get it either from finding a diagram/picture on the net today or I will take a ton of pictures of my connector and guess the colors of my connector.

I believe this diagram shows the Blue NAV Connector colors but using German color word abbreviations

I've looked at this many times. I can see the four squares outlined in the colors of the wires I need to put back into the blue connector but I don't understand why the slots are numbers as they are in the drawing. In the drawing the slots don't go from 1-6 on one side and 7-12 on the other. Plus some numbers they show are duplicated. Nevertheless I currently have the four wires I need to put back in the slots as identified in the diagram. I will hook the old system as it is and see what happens.
