I've tried the trigger wire though any source for using that fix is not clear what wire goes to what wire. The Seicane unit has a trigger wire but I have no idea where it should be connected. Some say it goes from the blue wire to the white wire but they don't show where the blue wire or white wire is located and they don't identify the aftermarket unit they are working with.

I couldn't find a fuse location on the DSP amp so I think the fuses and relay handle that. So did you bypass the relay and what about fuse 75. Fuse 76 is not used in the picture either.

Yes, unfortunately it was 26 degrees & I had to go to a wedding which took me 3 hours to drive to even though it was only 36 miles away. Peeps can’t drive in the snow.....

Did not bypass relay. Removed it to check it, had no power to radio so I put it back in place. Correction to previous post. Neither 75 or 76 had a fuse in place with my old system that worked fine. I put a fuse in 75 after I had already had the 20 seconds of sound hoping to correct the problem, it did not. Currently I have fuses 72 and 75 in place as well as the relay.

Since I lost the 20 seconds of sound somewhere along the line I think I need to verify the DSP amp has not been cooked by anything I have done. I tried to go back to my old setup. I had no sound and the nav unit was dim and nothing on the screen. I can't be positive I returned the right wires to the right slots in the connectors but I followed the posted diagram. Since I have no sound in original or Seicane configurations it seems like I have to test the amp when it is not hooked into the system?

When I quit last evening I disconnected the battery to see if it makes a difference today.

I am not sure the DSP amp would cause the dim screen. It would indicate some wiring problem as you are describing.

I agree, there is no reason to think DSP would cause any problem with Nav screen or operation, it must be wiring.

I sent another email to Seicane with all the necessary pictures and clearly asking for what I need to clarify their fix. I won't hear from them until Monday or Tuesday. Not optimistic they will be of any help.

Calling local audio installers today to find someone that is confident they can help.

I am trying to get motivated to work on it this afternoon.

I should be caught up and enjoying warmer weather by Sunday night or Monday.

I got my thermostat replace job done today and also replaced my idler pulleys which were just about to come off from the noise they made after removing them.

Anyways I will be back up to speed as soon as the warms just a tad.

I don't know if I can take pictures in a form that will really help. Getting them to show what slots they are in with them inside the plug isn't going to be easy and I wont risk taking them out of the connector since I might wind up in the situation your in.

That's why I left the plugs intact when I did mine. To risky if needed again later. I would cut them off with extra lead room before taking the pins out of the clips if I ever wanted them removed.

2. Solid Brown - Ground **Ground**
3. Blue/Black - Left tape voltage control (tape audio signal, blue twisted pair)
4. Blue/Brown - Left tape voltage ground (tape audio signal, blue twisted pair)
5. Not used
6. White/light gray - I/K bus signal (I don't care)

7. Red/brown - Terminal 30::Fuse F69:: **Constant +12V**
8. Not used
9. Yellow/brown - tape voltage ground (tape audio signal, yellow twisted pair)
10. Yellow/black - tape voltage control (tape audio signal, yellow twisted pair)
11. Red/Blue - Voltage supply Terminal R - Under loader Relay
12. Solid black - Background illumination signal
