For bcredliner :

Blue plug that was goes into old nav display headunit

What it does and pin # in the plug :

acc #11
b+ #7
ground #2
ibus #6

The wires you feed these with are labeled on the end of the harness seicane provided. Just find the small label tabs on the wires in the hatch area at the end of the seicane harness.

In the past, people kept the MID in the loop so they could reset the on board computer, but the app now allows that.

With factory nav, you do have to code the DSP amp to tell it the board monitor is no longer connected. This keeps the sound from turning off after 30 seconds. No coding should be required for MID and DSP
Your question earlier--The Seicane harness has three ends for the back. One connects to the harness that is removed from the radio, one connects to the connection removed from the radio and one is connected to a CAN BUS they provided.

The ibus app with DSP option is up and running. The radio should be in the loop via the Seicance harness, right?

Honestly at this point, this would be my recommendation. Put everything back to where you started before the Seicane installation with the factory units. Lets get a working system first. Once we have a valid baseline, we can proceed to the Seicane conversion. There have been so many wiring changes since the initial installation it is hard to follow and some of those wiring changes could be the issue. Lets get back to square one and move step by step.

I am sorry I do not have any experience yet with the Seicane unit but Crowz has done his install and has a better understanding of the wiring and components. My X5 is a non nav but it does have DSP so I am reading and participating in this thread for my own installation down the road.

There are many members that are helping and I know it gets frustrating but we will ultimately find the solution and get your project up and running. Hang in there.

Photo shows the ends of my harness. There are no wires labeled as above. The only change I can make to the ends is remove the CAN BUS.

ACC #11 what color?
B+ #7 what color?
ground #2 Brown
Ibus #6 yellow/white

wire colors available
Red/green
Black
Red/gray

Put a voltmeter on the wires and check for voltage

ACC #11 Key in position 2 and 3
B+ #7 Battery voltage HAAT (hot at all times)
ground #2 Brown (ohm out to chassis ground to verify)
Ibus #6 should be a white/gray/and yellow dots

Probably a good thing to do to confirm sound works as it was. I can easily go back to when it was working if I can confirm the slots the wires for the blue connector go in.

As it is I have not spiced or changed any wiring from before I started install when everything was working fine. All I have done as part of the Seicane install is plug in the Seicane harness and download the IBUS app with DSP. All other functions of the Seicane unit work properly. The only issue is no sound. The unit will display the screen to read mileage ave speed etc functions.

Perfect! Get back to operational sound with original components so we aren't fighting something unrelated to the Seicane install.
