Beautiful car, nice pix. An X-Raid decal on the window would be a nice touch.

Great pictures. Thanks for showing them to us.
Love the scenery on on the third picture and great to see the 4.8 in the low and high suspension settings.

I drive an 80 series Landcruiser (getting an X5 for my wife to replace her 525i), which is what I consider a real truck. The X5 is a nice vehicle for what it is, just not an off road vehicle. BTW, I don't consider the new Jeep SRT, Mercedes Benz ML, or MDX to be off road vehicles either. It's the compromise you choose. My LC can go places an X5 would never think of, but an X5 will run circles around it on the street and is much better at 80mph+ cruising.

Here is a picture of an 80 doing what I call off roading.
Don't take offensive But the Land Cruiser well it's a lump of Lard. Get yourself a LR defender 90 .

Why would I want a LR, so I can spend all my time working on the thing instead of driving it? Sorry but the Defender 90, really has nothing over the LC in ability. My 80 came with factory lockers front and rear, handles 33" tires with no lift, and is actually comfortable to drive. If I wanted to do really hardcore rockcrawling, I can always put a 3" lift on the LC and run 35" tires or go to a 5-6" lift and run 37" tires. If I wanted something smaller, a Jeep Wrangler Rubicon is a far better vehicle than the LR 90, offering a 4:1 transfer case, factory rear locker, and runs less than $30k out the door.

Notice Kuwaitiano has no winch and has wisely chosen not to put himself in a position where he might require one...Kuwaitiano knows that the desert can eat your lunch, so Kuwaitiano is modest about off-roading in a country where I would guess they have twenty different words for sand.

Kuwaitiano is also gentleman enough not to point out he can fill up his tank and go offroading for about US$20...great pictures.
