My E46 has 17mm and the E53 has 19mm...

Ok just went out and verified everything and even learned something new.

Yes its muddy as all get out here right now so the cars are filthy..

So even with a 2013 X5 I am still using one 17mm socket for ALL my bmw wheels. Strange.

Between spacers and 3rd party wheels in many various fashions (BBS, HRE, RAC, NEEZ), I have ran longer lugs WITH 17 mm heads on the X. never a universal answer

Well I haven't tried my e70 but my E53 and other bmw's have 17mm lug bolts.
Nope - My E53 have 19mm and my E86 MCoupe have 17mm

Ohsoslow is on a distinguished road
My e53 has 19mm, but the bloody lock nut is 17mm!! And the factory tyre brace is 19mm.. found that one out the hard way.

Is it OE? My OE lock bolt is also 19mm
