Did you try to actually put the screws in ?

I just checked my parts unit. Tab to the outside of car, green wire on front side.

Yes I can screw the bolts back in any position.

Do you have the driver's side mirror taken apart?

Can you send me a pic of how the motor sits in the base facing the door?

Basically like this but the left side? This is mine on my other side which works perfectly.

Yes, that is right but you need to be concerned about the bottom as well especially if the motor unit has been apart and has not yet had a chance to clock itself. You are aware that the ring has a notch to clock it to the housing? You might very well have a mix-up of parts from the previous owner, maybe why the ring was missing in the first place.

As of right now, it's almost there. I'm going to see if I can bend the microswitch arm a little to see if it works.

If the position of the the motor and etc has no clocking involved and all that the system needs is the two dimples on the white nylon washer to operate properly then that's my only attempt to solve this.

Right now they both close and stay closed when I press the button. It's when I press the button again to open the the driver side opens up almost 180 degrees lol So it must not be registering the second dimple on the switch.

Actually the dimples do not determine the stop position so I think you still might have a mechanical problem.

The whole assembly still needs to go together a certain way and have right handed parts, it's the gearing that doesn't need be clocked, that is what the dimples and micro-switch do.

So what tells it to stop? I tried without the mirror housing and micro switch and if you press the open/close button the motor just keeps turning in one direction until it times after about 2-3 seconds.

Check the location of the bottom tab and orientate according to the other side. The stops are mechanical, the motor always will run for a few seconds more. I should say "will get power" for a few extra seconds after it sees the micro switch signal.

Not how you test it. Switch open, press mirror close button, now quickly press and release microswitch. It’s open position, you click once when using button.

Seriously WTF!?!! I can't get this to work and getting sick and tired of removing the door panels LOL

I bought another one, seemed fully in tact paid a nice premium for is as seller knew what it was and hard to come across a mirror with all mirror options including glossy black base.

It's doing the same thing, both sides close and open right up and the driver side opens up further than it's supposed too. Checked the microswith as well, all was good.

Is this something wrong with my module or coding?!

HELP!!!!!
