Some questions about my X5

My new-to-me 2005 X5 3.0i has 290K miles on it... Some questions related to that, some not. I've searched and found many answers but not to the questions below:

1. At this mileage I'm thinking a little thicker oil (than 5-30) is in order. Thoughts? I plan on 10-40 winter and maybe 20-40 summer (I'm in a mild climate). Depends on what oil consumption pops up and if he makes any noises I don't like!

2. Stereo is OK, but what do you use to integrate your phones? or is it even possible? Mine does not have a phone dock. I had a Tune2Air from Bovee in my Benz, it worked well.

3. Trans, diffs and transfer case maintenance are unknown (former owner was a mechanic though) I'm thinking change them all. Red Line 75-90 for the diffs, BMW magic fluid for the transfer case and Dex 6 (?) for the trans.

4. Coding. I have both an iCarly and a Foxwell NT510 on the way. I have looked over the Carly site about coding but see some folks on here have "coded" items that are not listed or available to Carly. Where are these coming from and how are they coded?

5. I don't have (can't find) a fuse diagram and I want to disable the pano roof. Are there other users of this fuse or just the roof? What number is it and where is it?

In time I'm sure I will have other questions but these are the important ones at the moment. Any and all help is appreciated. TIA.
